What you're building, the one constraint that matters most — a date, a budget, a system you already have, or how you want people to feel when they land on it — and where things are today. A paragraph is plenty. An engineer reads it and replies within one working day; there is no sales sequence to survive first.

“Configurator for made-to-order furniture. We want a 3D view a customer can spin and spec, feeding our existing Laravel order system. Has to work on a mid-range phone. Trade show in March.” That's enough for us to come back with an approach, the risky bit, and a rough shape — not a questionnaire.
