// DETAIL
The most expensive work in most companies isn’t the work — it’s carrying it from one system to the next by hand.
Where automation pays
The expensive work in most businesses is not the work itself — it is the transfer between steps. Re-typing an order into an accounting system, chasing an approval by email, reconciling two exports by hand. Those are the tasks worth automating first because they are frequent, rule-based and error-prone.
How we approach it
We map the current process as it really runs, including the exceptions people handle informally. Then we automate the reliable path, make the exceptions explicit, and keep a human decision point wherever judgement is genuinely required.
The constraint
The binding constraint is almost never the technology — it is that nobody can afford to stop running the process while it is replaced. So automation goes in beside the manual path, not instead of it: the system proposes, a person confirms, and confirmation is withdrawn one step at a time as the numbers justify it. Built on custom software and API work, with existing tools integrated rather than replaced.
Observability
Every automated run is recorded: what triggered it, what it changed, what it skipped. When something goes wrong you get a specific failed step, not a silent gap.
