Rewrite a page without letting it invent things
A writing prompt that improves tone and rhythm while forbidding new claims — with an explicit list of what the model is not allowed to add.
Rewrite the text below so it reads like a person wrote it, for [AUDIENCE].
Keep every fact exactly as given. You may reorder, cut and rephrase. You may not:
- add a statistic, percentage, year, award, client name or capability that is not already there
- add superlatives the original does not support ("leading", "world-class", "trusted by thousands")
- add a claim about speed, scale or results that is not stated in the source
- invent a reason, benefit or outcome to make a sentence land better
Tone: [TONE]. Plain words over impressive ones. Short sentences where the idea is simple,
longer ones where it genuinely is not. No em-dash-heavy rhythm, no rhetorical questions,
no three-item lists purely for cadence.
Target length: [LENGTH]. Cutting is preferred to padding.
If a sentence in the source is vague enough that you cannot rewrite it without guessing
what it means, leave it flagged in square brackets rather than inventing a meaning.

[PASTE TEXT]// WHAT TO REPLACE
[AUDIENCE]Who is actually reading, and what they already know. "A finance director who has been burned by a software project before" produces very different copy to "a developer".
[TONE]Two or three adjectives, and at least one thing to avoid: "direct and unfussy, never salesy".
[LENGTH]A number. "Shorter" gets ignored; "under 120 words" does not.
